Internal organisation

The CIMET consortium is organised around a single coordination entity located at University Jean Monnet, Saint-Etienne. This coordination office is in charge of the overall management and administration of the Master programme.

Academic Coordinators  are key contact persons ensuring the smooth running of the teaching activities and general counselling to the students on each university site:

Academic coordinators communicate on a regular basis via email, via video-conference or in meetings.

As to ensure efficient and smooth coordination of the overall aspects of the Master CIMET, various bodies have been set:

 The Joint Graduate Committee (or JGC)  is an executive body ruling on both study matters and general Master management. The JGC is therefore in charge of:

 The Quality Assurance, Evaluation and Supervision Board ensures the quality of the learning/teaching processes and of the delivered diploma.

 Faculty Advisors ( one per university)  
 They belong to the teaching staff of each university and supervise the work of students through regular individual or group meetings. They liaise directly with the Academic coordinators in their respective institutions. They may be consulted by QAESB members on specific issues.
 

 Students representation  
 CIMET students' representative is elected by her/his cohort peers for two years.
 

 She/he represents all the students during Joint Graduate Committees.
 She/he passes on concerns and questions to the Consortium Academic coordinators and the Quality Assurance and Evaluation Supervisory Board.
 

The election takes place at the beginning of each cohort.
