Internal organisation
The CIMET consortium is organised around a single coordination entity located at University Jean Monnet, Saint-Etienne. This coordination office is in charge of the overall management and administration of the Master programme.

Academic Coordinators
are key contact persons ensuring the smooth running of the teaching activities and general counselling to the students on each university site:
Academic coordinators communicate on a regular basis via email, via video-conference or in meetings.
As to ensure efficient and smooth coordination of the overall aspects of the Master CIMET, various bodies have been set:
The Joint Graduate Committee (or JGC)
is an executive body ruling on both study matters and general Master management. The JGC is therefore in charge of:
- Controlling the procedures of the programme of studies;
- Guaranteeing the programme of Compulsory Courses in each institution, and the syllabus of Optional Courses;
- Deciding upon syllabus changes;
- Deciding upon changes, such as study plan, the structure and the credit recognition scheme of the Master;
- Adjusting re-sit and balance examination criteria within the curriculum.
As for general management is concerned, the JGC is responsible for:
- Creating the conditions necessary for implementation of the agreement;
- Selection of candidatures from applicants (students and scholars),
- Allocating them among the universities; To pay attention to the principle of gender equality;
- Managing the tuition fees policy;
- Deciding the amount of general costs kept by the coordinating institution;
- Changing the conditions for the participation in the joint Master, if specific reasons require it;
- Managing exceptions and problematic cases;
- Dealing with students under probation.

The Quality Assurance, Evaluation and Supervision Board
ensures the quality of the learning/teaching processes and of the delivered diploma.
As a supervision body, the QAESB determines:
- The accurate procedures to evaluate development and quality of the programme,
- The criteria, actualization and improvement procedures of the programme,
- The analysis procedures to evaluate the professional insertion of all the graduated from the Master and their satisfaction level for the received formation,
- The mechanisms for administrative management and certification of the results,
- The procedures for evaluation of teachings and teachers.
The QAESB will check and approve the following documents:
- Information Package / Course Catalogue in English and in all the languages of the Universities of the Consortium which will be both published on the website of the master and printed on a brochure.
- The learning agreement including the course title and the ECTS. It is distributed to institutions and students.
- The transcript of Records: this document contains the list of the courses and the obtained credits and grading established from the transcript of records given by each university giving the courses.
- The Diploma Supplement (see template): this contains the specific description of the professional profile and skills, the contents of the courses, the obtained results and ECTS.

Students representation
CIMET students' representative is elected by her/his cohort peers for two years.
She/he represents all the students during Joint Graduate Committees.
She/he passes on concerns and questions to the Consortium Academic coordinators and the Quality Assurance and Evaluation Supervisory Board.
The election takes place at the beginning of each cohort.
