From the very start, cooperation with the IT Industry has been set as a priority by the consortium partners. companies with whom we have been cooperating can be involved in many different ways.
Nokia, HP, Multiscan, Indra, Innovae Vision, Greenlight Solutions (GLR), OSA, Tecnalia, Indusvision Robotics (IVR), Infaimon and more recently Chromassens (Germany), Bioprocesa ( http://www.bioprocesa.es/) have developed partnership with us.
Technicolor and Nokia are for instance involved in the very structure of the Master CIMET since they send representatives to the Joint Graduate Committees.
For the 2009-2011 cohort, Nokia scientific experts have co-supervised the project contest entitled: “Color emotion on cell phone”.
For the 2010-2012 cohort, Olympus offered the topic for the project contest related to "Color appearance in microscopes".
Greenlight Solutions (GLR), Technicolor, Indusvision Robotics IVR, Indra, Tecnalia, Multiscan, Innovae Vision, Unitronics Vision and Chromassens contribute through Master Thesis proposals.
From teaching seminars to conference organising, Master Thesis subjects or jobs posting, collaboration between CIMET and the Color industry is an ongoing and enriching process.
We are regularly contacted by companies and we are constantly working on re-inforcing partnership building with the private sector.
