CIMET at CREATE2010, Gjøvik, Norway
The CREATE conference on “colour in art, science, design, conservation, research, printmaking, digital technologies, textiles” was held at Gjøvik University College from the 7th of June till the 11th of June. More than 100 participated in this final conference of the CREATE series of conferences and training events. All participants presented themselves and their work, either as an interactive poster or as an oral presentation.
The program also included 3 keynote speakers and several invited speakers. Ivar Farup, representing the colorlab (http://colorlab.no/) in the CREATE committee, states that "Create has created dialog and a network between different research areas." He also says that the work to continue CREATE already has started, and one should check the CREATE website at http://www.create.uwe.ac.uk/ for updates.
Several members of the CIMET staff and students attended this event.
